Looking ahead at the Law Firm Marketing Summit

This year the annual Law Firm Marketing Summit (LFMS) focused on Trust: building confidence and belief in your team with many productive sessions looking at rebranding, managing multi-generational teams and small teams. Director Jacob Aitken and Managing Consultant Matthew Cripsey, alongside Crystal Lo, Top Ranked Legal, hosted a breakout Legal Directories session answering all your questions about the legal directories and how to grow your rankings.

We’ve summarised some key points to bear in mind:

1.  Strategy : an evolving plan of who to showcase, what cases to include and which referees to select as well as short-mid term ranking goals.  

2. Preparation : plenty of time to compile your submission and submit referees based on your strategy. Prepare your content ahead of guide launches.

3. Monitor : know when research is occurring, stay ahead of changing deadlines and upcoming guide launches, particularly if you are submitting for different locations or jurisdictions. (Use our Submissions Calendar.)

4. Results : use the feedback for marketing purposes and to update your strategy for the next research cycle.
